I think that you should wear makeup when you feel you need too! For example if you have young skin and it is still nice then you shouldn’t need foundation but if you feel that you should start putting foundation, etc, on then feel free but definetely get a colour match to check for the right skin tone and ask a beauty specialist if they think you need it! Ask someone on a counter for example: Clarins counter, Clinique counter, YSL counter, etc… Xx

Some women start menstruating at an early age of nine, ten, eleven. That is too young to be wearing makeup unless there are issues. By issues, I mean emotional problems that make this young women feel she is so ugly she must enhance her facial features. With makeup comes a new set of problems. Skin care resulting from using makeup is a newer responsibility. Some people learn about allergies to makeup as well. Removing makeup requires special attention and sometimes additional products. Makeup cost money to purchase and must be changed in a timely manner or it goes bad and can cause skin irritation. So, makeup use comes with maturity. In addition, a heavily made up person looks ridiculous unless it is for evening wear under low lighting or for modeling purposes. In fact, learning how to use makeup properly and apply it with an even hand, using technique of brushwork and applying the foundation to look natural are an art that will require patience, good lighting, a closeup mirror if possible, etc.
