I hate being so small?

Asked by: Peach Blossom 285 views Skin & Body , , , , ,

I’m 14 years old and I’m 5’1 reaching 5’2. Everyone seems to be a lot taller than I am. I just hate it. I hate it how all tall people look beautiful because they have a unique tallnesss gift. I wanna at least reach 5’4. Ok that’s still quite short but its a good height… If I drink lots of milk, will it help me grow fast? Hate being so small…

You shouldn’t hate being small. Being short is cute! I’ll bet if you were tall, you’d hate being tall, and would love to be shorter. That’s what I usually hear from tall girls. The grass is always greener on the other side. And you can’t really change your genetic code, as many other’s mentioned here. But, if your parents are taller ( ex: mom is 5’4-5’5 and dad is 5’10 or above), then there’s a good chance you will still grow a little taller over the years. Like you, I was 5’2 when I was 14. Now that I’m 17 I’m 5’4 inches tall. So there’s still a possibility you may grow taller. Again, it depends on your parents’ height. And even if you don’t grow taller, you shouldn’t be upset. That’s still a great height. Some people are a lot shorter and love being short. You should love yourself for who you are. :)

Hey! Im exactly the same as you!! Just stock up on some casual heels and wedges! You have until like 18-25 to stop growing so maybe you can get another inch or so! Im not sure about the milk but it cant hurt. Being short is actually better because it looks awkward when the guy is taller so you wont have that problem.Ya just gotta embrace it hun. Look in the mirror everyday and tell yourself I AM BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT HOW I AM! "God only lets his people grow to perfection. Short people didn’t take as long to be perfect!" ;) Good Luck!!

Well DNA & genes matter if your family’s average height is 5’1 then i doubt that milk would be any helpful but then again 5’2 is a good height for a 14 years old.dont worry about it too much you will be like 5’9 or 5’11 when u hit 18 so dont let it bother you & btw a tip for you "The moment you start caring about what others think or feel inferior to them in any way you are their prisoner from that very moment"

I am the exact same age and height as you and I know for sure I will not be growing anymore. I have learned to love the person I am height included. If there is a point someone might make a short joke, I make it instead. If you learn to make fun of yourself no one has anything to make fun of. If you ask me, you are the perfect height and no one should tell you different!

Your genes determine how tall you’ll end up. If your parents are taller there is a good chance that you will be too. If they are short you may have already reached your adult height. Milk won’t make you grow taller but will help give you strong bones…..so do drink it anyway.

Drink Vitamins, Eat healthy, Drink milk, get enough of sleep. :) but I don’t have any assurance if those would work. Genetics has always something to do with your height.

I’m very small too, milk doesn’t help too much, but it does something. I honestly do not mind one bit that I’m small, I think its usefully, and tall people look like freaks to me.
