Is it ok for a latino or white person to have a Japanese tattoo?

I realize people can get what ever they want, but does it in anyway disrespect the culture or just look odd?

Oh, hell if you want a Japanese tattoo, get one. As long as it respects their culture. If you have… say… a tattoo that shows a samurai warrior to show strength and respect. Or that says, "I was born this way," in Japanese, that’s also okay.Anything that isn’t racist or prejudicial, go for it.

There’s nothing really wrong with it, but sometimes it seems kinda silly. I mean, imagine if Asian people got random English words tattooed on themselves? Like some person walks by with " water " tattooed on their arm.

You can get whatever tattoo you want. Just dont make yourself look like a moron by just getting words you dont know the meaning of.
