Can detailed Tattoos blotch?

Asked by: Smiley Tweets 275 views Skin & Body , , , ,

I have a question (for the people with experience only) in regards to "fine detailed" tattoos, is it a fact that gradually over-time the tattoo will start to look "blotchy" like say, have a watercolored or marker look to it? I’d like some feedback on this because I’m getting "yes" and "no" answers without really any reason as to why or why not. So basically, I just want to know if this has happened to anyone that’s had theirs for awhile now, and if its recommended or safe to get one with a lot of detail or not. Thanks ^^

It all depends really, it can depend on your skin type, if the artist goes to lightly with the needle that can cause the ink to bleed out under your skin causing the blotchy effect. Dont get a tattoo that is too detailed too small, lots of lines or shapes etc can and probably will one day end blurring into one so it can difficult to tell what it is, especially from a distance

You are probably getting yes and no answers due to the irregularity of blotching. Tattoos blotch based on both your skin and the ink! I’ve seen many detailed tattoos be perfectly fine and haven’t blotched. xx
