Can I exchange opened makeup at MAC?

I went to the MAC counter yesterday at Macy’s to get some foundation and powder. She matched me, I bought the makeup, but when I left the store, I realized the makeup was way to dark for me, so I went back, and I exchanged the makeup for something lighter. After I got home I tried on the makeup, but then I realized it was still kinda dark. Do you think they would let me exchange it again? Thanks in advance.

    Most of the time you can, when it is foundation. It is their flaw to have matched you to the wrong color. Some counters are bitchy about, but most would allow you to exchange for different shade.

    No, that would be really unhygienic, so they will not do it. Would you want to put makeup on your fingers, face, eyes or mouth that had been in the same places by strangers? Icky!

    It depends on the stores policy you’ll have to ask them every store is different
