Can someone become a professional piercer and not do tattoos?

Asked by: Carrie 283 views Skin & Body , , , ,

I am a terrible artist. I don’t even like drawing or have any interest in being a tattoo artist. I do happen to have what seems to be a natural talent for piercing. Quick, accurate, and nearly painless. But could I become just a piercer and not do tattoos? Is that even a thing?

Yes definitely. A close friend of mine is the piercer and owner of the local tattoo shop, but he can’t do tattoos at all. :)

You can. My local tattoo parlor has a girl that works there; she strictly does piercings.
