Could you apply a relaxer if you have straightened hair?

I strightened my hair today and i bought a relaxer, so i was wondering if you could aply it on my hair as it is, or would i have to wash my hair and dry it before I relaxed it?

    You can apply the relaxer to straightened hair. If you do decide to wash it first you should wait at least 24 hrs before applying the relaxer to your hair.
