Covering up a self harm cut on your wrist?

Asked by: Juliet 286 views Skin & Body

I’ve been clean for a while but I slipped up and cut my wrist last night well its more of a scratch but either way there’s a mark. My friends are going to end up noticing for a parade we have to do on Monday or when they come over tomorrow. How can I cover it up really well? I tried Concealer but it doesn’t work the best…

Clean it really well tonight. Put triple antibiotic ointment on it and a bandage tonight, so it helps a little bit over night.. better than nothing. Then put just a TAD bit foundation (if you put too much it will make the cut stand out more) then wear like 5/6 bracelets. Not too much it will look suspicious.

First of all, please don’t cut your wrists any more!!! I know that sometimes your anger/frustration/jealousy gets the best of you, but take it out on something other than yourself! You’re perfect the way you are, no matter what people say or think. I would try foundation first and if that doesn’t work try bracelets. But if THAT doesn’t work, wear a thin sweater/sweatshirt depending on the weather!!!:) Hope I helped! Have fun at the parade!

Act as if it’s your face and you have a big red zit… Foundation and concealer and you said it doesn’t work the best, but try it with foundation and set it with powder… and it it still shows a bit then grab some bracelets and a few hair ties and play it cool. remember put some on the other arm too so you don’t look suspicious

Bracelet things. And if they did notice, you got cut by another bracelet. So even though it’s 50/50 if it works, you have a good excuse when they see.. And if you struggle with depression, message me if you ever need to talk. I honestly love helping people. Hope this helped :)

wear a sh*t tone of bracelets. Or just clean it really well and cover it over night, then maybe it wont be so bad. put ice on it to make some of the redness and swelling go away. and keep your wrists down at all times. That’s what i do (:
