Dip dying hair with kool-aid.?

Asked by: Cutesie Pie 668 views Hair

I had done this last year, and it was permanent. And I mean permanent. The only way I got it to go away was by dying my hair auburn. So my question is:
Right now my hair is like an Auburn ombré, I wanted to dip dye the ends of my hair red with kool-aid to give it a shiny darker look. I thought I could do this without it lasting there forever because as my dye goes away, it’ll go away with it. Right? Will it go away since I put it on a dye on my hair instead of my actual hair color? Or does putting kool-aid on the tips lock in that dye, trapping it, meaning the kool-aid will not go away with the auburn dye?

So basically what I’m asking is, since I put kool-aid on top of already dyed hair, when the auburn dye goes away, will the kool-aid go away with it?

The first time you dyed it with kool aid, was it your natural hair?I’d say that since you’re kool aiding it over already damaged hair that it will fade away with the auburn dye.

    I don’t know if kool-aid will work.
