i am thinking of shaving my privatesand pits. Does the regrowth itch too much? If i shave it off every other day?
BQ: IF a man is very "furry" should he trim the rest of body hair or shave them or just leave them furry n fluffy?

For a while yes, it will itch as it regrows, especially if you shave against the grain for the smoothest shave the first several times. You can reduce the itching by shaving with the grain, although that’s not the smoothest. It’ll take about a month for the pubic area skin to get used to the shaving and regrowth, and after that you’ll be able to shave with little to no itching or irritation during regrowth. If you prefer to shave against the grain to make it the smoothest there are various things you can try applying to the skin to reduce irritation as it regrows, but I really haven’t had much luck with that. (The irritation, red bumps, and ingrown hairs are caused by the sharply cut edge of the hair tips getting caught on the skin around the follicle which often causes them to grow under the skin. The hair can be extracted with a sharp pin or something, and that tiny cut to the skin to extract the hair heals in a day or so.)One product that works great is called "Magic Shaving Powder", a hair care product marketed towards black men who shave their heads, and can be found in the black hair care section of the shampoo aisle at the store with things like hair relaxer/straightener. The variety in the gold and black can works better than the white and blue can, and smells better. It works by mixing a spoon of the powder with water and applying it as a paste, letting it sit for 8 or 10 minutes, and then scraping it away with a spatula, plastic scraper, etc. It basically melts the hair but isn’t as harsh as Nair. The product works very well and results in almost no irritation or ingrown hairs as the hair grows back. However, a down side is that if left on too long it can cause brown blotchy spots to appear in the skin (noticeable if you are caucasian), sort of like an old man’s liver spots, and it takes about 6 months for those spots to fade away. Don’t leave it on too long and overall the product works excellent for pubic hair removal.I don’t know about armpits, though; I have no experience with that.Shaving or trimming of body hair is an entirely personal preference so nobody can rightly say whether a man "should" or "should not" shave or trim. There’s nothing wrong with either choice.

When you shave your face it does not itch that much but it feels good to rub your hand along the skin
