How do I get my hair to stay wavy?

Every time I take braids out of my hair… It’s still straight! I’ve tried braiding it while it’s wet and while it’s dry and I always sleep on it over night.. Whenever I braid it when it’s wet or damp, it doesn’t dry by the morning. Is there any other way to get it wavy like a braid would? Or is there something else I could do to the braid to make it wavy? (Ps I can’t French braid or anything)

    Okay this is what I do:When I get out of the shower i wrap my hair in a towel. Its what i would do anyway. I keep my hair in my towel for about 20 mins. But thats just because im to lazy to do anything with it(: anyways when i take it out of my hair out of the towel and put moose in it. The i french braid it. Yes i know you said you dont know how but it is pretty simple. Okay so here is how:You said you know how to braid. Right? Okay well you braid it once. When you get the stand in the hand that only has one strand in you pick some up. Then you braid again. When the other hand only has one strand in it you pick up more hair. Then repeat. Hope I helped!!!

    If your not borne wt wavy hair ìt will not stay wavy. Ifyour pours are round you would have straight hair. If your pours are flat then you will have wavy hair. If your pours are oval then you will have curly hair. Those are the brakes. Sorry! I can recommend using products for wavy hair r braiding ìt then taking ìt down for a wavy look. See u tube.

    Use a sea salt spray on your hair while it’s wet. It can be used on dry hair as well, but that tends to put wave in my hair . I have the same problem as you.

    Use product in your hair with the braid. A leave in conditioner or cream product. Water alone won’t style stick straight hair
