How do you make short shorts out of old jeans?

I really want to have a pair of short shorts since my last pair shrunk but I don’t want to pay that much. Also do you know how you could add some patterns to the shorts e.g. leopard print/ Aztec patterns.

    Cut your jeans to a couple of inches longer than your desired length, then cuff the ragged parts and sew it. Easy!For the pattern thing, check out youtube, there’s thousands of videos for a lot of different patterns you can do. I just watched one on Macbarbie07′s channel where she made jeans into shorts and dyed them so they had an ombre effect.Hope this helped!

    Really?… Just cut off the legs for the length of the shorts you want, and then get a certain design, or fabric, and sow it into the pants.
