Question about my cartilage piercing?

Asked by: Pricilla 347 views Skin & Body , ,

I got my cartilage pierced about 12 weeks ago. I cleaned it everyday twice daily with the ear care solution and turned the earring. Well on Monday I finally figured out how to take out the earring. When I took it out, there wasn’t any gunk on the earring or on my ear when I cleaned it, but there is a bump on the front and back of my ear surrounding the cartilage piercing. It hurts a little but there’s nothing coming out of it. What is it and how do I get rid of it?

It is probably just tissue and muscle buildup. AKA scar tissue. There is nothing you can do about it.
