What do I need for 8th grade?

Asked by: Sunshine Glitters 432 views Fashion & Accessories , , ,

I mean supplies and clothes wise. I’m girly and I really love clothes but I have a smallish budget. My parents won’t take me to the mall because they think it’s crowded and I don’t like shopping online because I don’t know if it fits for sure. I don’t care about brands, I just want to look good. I was thinking like, what clothing essentials I would need, for the whole year. Even shoes and jackets. And I don’t have a supplies list from my teacher yet but my parents want to get it out of the way so does anyone have any idea about what I will need for 8th grade school supplies? Thanks to anybody who answers xoxo

Get classic stuff and mix them up with cool accessories to make variations. For example: Have some jeans in several colors and styles, but pick ones that will go with a lot of things. So you could get some blue/black/white/brown skinnies (depending on your body type and style) in those colors, etc. Use jewelry, hats, scarves etc to get the funkiness in your outfits rather than buying pants with a pattern or in a color that you can’t wear with much. Get a couple pairs of leggings to wear with long tops/short dresses. Choose colors you can wear with a lot of things, like black or white. Then get several tee-shirts/tanks that can be mixed and matched with your pants, and cardigans/hoodies that can be mixed as well. You want to have lots of options for mixing things up. Then add cool accessories to make each outfit spiced up. The key is to always have something to wear, so having jeans/leggings in neutral colors that go with everything means that you can pair them with any top. If you like bright pants I would suggest just getting one crazy pair and get the rest neutral. You’re going to be wearing these everyday so you want to be able to mix things up. Get some funky jewelry that’s your style, maybe a scarf in a bright color, etc. Headbands are great for days when you want your hair out of your face, so you can get those in multiple colors to brighten up an outfit.

The teachers might want certain things, mine did. So if they don’t give a list wait til the first day because if your patents don’t like wasting money its best they waitTarget and Walmart may seem cheap but they actually have some good stuff. I got a really cute summer dress from Walmart for 10$. Nothing is really essential, its more about your taste and comfort. Personally I like camis and tanks with a shawl or jacket, cute graphic tees or layering stuff. I also like vans converse and toms, but those are name brand so you can do knockoff. So go to like target or Walmart and just pick out things you think are cute and you’ll be fine

When I was your age I threw out my supply list and just bought one ginormous binder with a bunch of dividers.I found myself being more organized and having to carry just that and maybe a calculator. This is just an recommendation though.
