What kind of moisturizer will be good for me?

   Okay, so I had a similar condition. I used water based moisturiser. If in doubt, it’s very hard to go wrong with a water-based moisturiser. If your skin is producing too much oil, you might need to reconsider any products your are using on your face – I asked the worker at my chemist for help and they were able to recommend some for me.Make sure that you do use a moisturiser on your skin, even if you do eventually get oily skin. If you don’t moisturise your skin, your body will tell your skin to produce more oil to compensate for the lack of moisture.. hense the oily skin.Hope I was able to help

   Sounds like you’ve got sensitive skin so lay off the soap and use a moisturiser ‘soap’ like Dove or one of the soaps especially for sensitive skin. They don’t have too many harsh chemicals and perfumes in them. See your doctor about the acne as a wide spectrum antibiotic could probably clear it up for you if it’s really bad. Keep your hands off your face so you don’t leave dirty fingermarks and extra oil from them on your facial skin and DON’T pick acne spots as they’ll scar. As to the flaking etc., this could be a reaction to something in the soap and/or anything else you are putting on your face. Too much cleanser, toner etc. Wash your face and at night use a water-based moisturiser – as simple as you can get it – like acqueous cream which won’t clog up your pores. It would be ok to use in the daytime too. Don’t over-wash your face either. Be gentle with it and kind to yourself. No vigorous scrubbing etc.
