why don't my curls ever stay in?

okay so I have some kind of revlon curler and every time i curl my hair, it never stays in! after 10
minutes it ends up Turing into wavy hair instead of curls. my hair is naturally straight and no matter how much hairspray i use the curls won’t stay! please help!

    Hair that isn’t freshly washed holds a curl better. You could also try switching up your brand of hairspray to find one that holds better. Maybe you should try a different curling method. Try magnetic rollers or a curling wand instead. Hope this helps! c:
