Would this make my hair lighter? PLEASE HELP…?

i have ginger/red hair and i have dyed my hair, i want my hair to be ultra violet (purple) but when i put a dye on my hair, it goes light at roots and dark and the ends, if i added blonde hair dye to the purple dye mix and applied it and left for twice the amount would it go lighter or the same? If no then any ideas on how i can without stripping or bleaching?

    It sounds like its already over processed. Why not leave it the natural color? Who wants to see what it would look like if grape ape and a q tip had a baby anyways? Buy a purple wig! I hope you arent doing this to your head if you are light complected and freckly. Purple will look awful with fair skin.

    Applying blonde hair dye wouldn’t work. You’d need to bleach your hair to strip the natural colour, but I wouldn’t recommend doing this yourself as this could go very wrong and could damage your hair or worse you could end up bald!! I would go and have a free consultation with a professional colourist. :)
